 Alvin See Wei-Liang教授畢業於英國利茲大學法學學士，榮獲一級榮譽學位；2008年通過馬來西亞法律執業資格鑒定考試，取得法律執業證書；2010年以優異成績取得英國牛津大學英美法系法學碩士學位；而後，任教於馬來西亞泰萊湖畔大學（Taylor's University ），講授契約法、衡平法與信託；現任新加坡管理大學法學院法學助理教授。
Alvin See Wei-Liang教授曾經獲得的重要獎項包括：2009年馬來西亞法律職業資格委員會總檢察長獎、2010年牛津大學知名法學雜誌Oxford University Commonwealth Law Journal (OUCLJ)副主編研究獎。雖然他主要的研究領域在私法（不當得利、契約、信託法），但對動物保護法規同樣表現出濃厚興趣，曾於2011年以“動物福利與防範虐待：1953年動物法及相關法規修訂建議”（Animal Welfare and Prevention of Cruelty: Proposed Amendments to the Animals Act 1953 (Act 647) and Relevant By-Laws）研究計畫，獲得馬來西亞法律改革委員會經費贊助，並於2012年在馬來西亞國會大廈提出相關研究報告。
Alvin See Wei-Liang教授的代表著作包括：《新加坡及馬來西亞動物保護法》（Animal Protection Laws of Singapore and Malaysia）、《契約、不當得利、跨越式投資發展》 （Contract, Unjust Enrichment and Leapfrogging）、《不當得利、委託及其應然性之探討》（Rethinking Unjust Enrichment, Bailment and Necessity）、《撤銷賠償之取得：賠償條款、委託與不當得利》（Recovering Post-withdrawal Costs: Indemnity Clause, Bailment and Unjust Enrichment）。 |
